Clayton Delville Hood
The Clayton Delville brand was born out of a lifelong passion for natural gemstones. It allowed me to join two of my most enjoyed aspects of my work. Bringing joy to others and working with rare gemstones. Not much brings me more joy than seeing a clients eyes glow in amazement at their new bespoke piece of gemstone jewellery. A treasured piece
of earths natural raw beauty, polished, positioned and designed to be a once off personal treasure.
From humble beginnings in South Africa "working the beat" as a loose gemstone trader in my early twenties and studying gemology through the Gemological Institute of America in Bangkok. I progressed on to buying and cutting rough gemstones in central and Southern Africa to trading in remote mining reaches of Africa to the hustle and bustle of the electric gemstone trading centres of the world.
I began sourcing gemstones directly for private clients wanting something special and out of the "high street" ordinary. I found much satisfaction in listening to their desires, concerns and budget requirements and relished
in the challenge of finding their perfect gemstone. Watching
the client in awe at its beauty first hand, and feeling the
joy at receiving their engagement ring or anniversary pendant made me completely content with my work. It became evident that this was where I belonged.
The business developed into a bespoke gemstone, diamond and jewellery service. The entire process of sourcing, designing and producing the final product is now handled personally by me. Which makes my journey with the client completely personal and unique to their needs.

Currently I live in a quiet location with my family in rural Harrogate in the United Kingdom and handle client requests locally and around the world.
No budget is too small, and no request is too large.
Samantha Hood
I began my career as a graphic designer in Johannesburg, South Africa. Having worked as a corporate designer for several years my path changed toward a true passion of mine, Ballet. Having been a ballet dancer from a young age I decided to pursue my dream to open a successful ballet school. Vole Ballet School was born in 2013 and grew in to a formidable dance space where students were nurtured and transformed in to the best dancers they could be.
For nearly 10 years I poured my energy and soul in to something I believed in, something that challenged myself and the students around me and something, ultimately, that meant something remarkable to someone.
With a shared interest in people and creating something meaningful, I decided to join my husband Clayton in creating a healthy and sustainable business with shared interests in orchestrating those remarkable moments for our clients.
